Welcome back to our wedding blog! We can't believe that there's only 5 weeks to go until our big day! The last few month have gone by in a blur and we couldn't be more excited. :)

There are only a few more things to check off of our 'to-do' lists and we will be all set and ready to go.

Thank you for taking the time to take a look at this little wedding blog that we have put together for you. We thought that in lieu of the standard wedding websites you see now-adays, a wedding blog would be more appropriate. This way we can easily keep you all up-to-date with the most recent information in regards to our upcoming wedding in Jamaica! The most recent updates will always be posted on this main page. You might be wondering - Why a wedding in Jamaica?

When we first got engaged, even leading up to the engagement, a destination wedding was never really on our minds. Once we sat down and really started thinking about things, we decided that we didn't really see any worth in spending a ton of money that we don't have on one day, but would much prefer spending a fraction of a normal wedding price on a trip and wedding all in one! This is where the idea of a destination came from!

So why Jamaica? Well, we basically had several destinations in mind that we wanted to rule out right away and out of the few remaining, Jamaica came out on top! We have chosen to get married right on the beach at the Riu Negril resort in Negril, Jamaica.

Being fairly low-key people, we think that this beach wedding will be the absolute perfect way for us to mark the start of our lives as husband and wife and we can only hope that some of you will be able to join us down in the sun!
